Seesmic to cut Blackberry support

According to a recent blog post by Seesmic they will cut support for Blackberry on June 30th. The idea is so that they can focus more on other more popular services like Android and Windows phone 7.

Seesmic encourages its users to try out Seesmic for the other OS and try its desktop and web clients as well. We aren’t exactly sure how you are supposed to use an Android or iPhone if you have a Blackberry but Seesmic wants you to.

If you are like most people and don’t have both a Blackberry and another smartphone you can try out some of these apps:

Seesmic also appears to be trying to sell its Blackberry client since it is the nicest client on the market for Twitter Blackberry. This is according to the tweet below posted by Seesmic CEO Loic Le Meur.
