Twitter for Android gets an overhaul

Twitter has just launched some important updates to its Android app, push notifications and multiple accounts. So if you use more than one Twitter account you can toggle between them without logging out and then logging in again.

This feature has been on the Twitter for iPhone app since before it was owned by Twitter. Twitter is yet to appear on the web client to the relief of 3rd party developers who are using that as their last hope of a feature they have and Twitter dosen’t.

The push notifications aren’t really that big since you already get a notification in the update but if you really like Twitter and want your phone to go off every time you get a @reply, go ahead and set that up.
