Twitter launches HTML5 iPad version
Twitter has just announced that it is going to start rolling out its new HTML5 improved iPad version of Twitter.com to its users and that all iPad users should have it by the end of the week.
The app is full of HTML5 and an improvement of the one paneled page that is currently the Twitter mobile site. No surprise that it is similar to the HTML5 apps for Android and iPhone.
According to mobile development Manuel Deschamps tells us that an HTML5 version of the iPad will come out to the public soon.
A quote from Twitter’s Carolyn Penner:
The HTML5 app provides a great option for people who prefer to use the browser over native apps. Its two-column view is consistent with the Twitter experience you’re used to (on Twitter.com), and it takes advantage of touch gestures and other device capabilities.
